Welcome!

Hi Everyone and welcome to my first blog post!! The Learning to Love Yourself blog is geared towards educating young women on how to create a positive self image, build their self esteem, and separate the world of advertisement and celebs from the real world.  I have young cousins and nieces who are constantly being exposed to sexually explicit ads and TV shows that encourage them to dress, look, and act a certain way.  My goal is to help build a stronger, positive YOU and to help you look past the images you see on a daily basis and help you feel comfortable in your own skin.  I want to educate you on the tricks that these advertisements use that are meant to capture young girls' attention.  If you refuse to buy into the lies they feed you then you will be able to look in the mirror and be happy to just be you:)
